Q: What qualities should make up a real estate person or principal?
A: For me it’s about not losing sight of the basics, and the golden rule – at all times everything must be in the best interests of the client (vendor), ie to achieve the best possible outcome. Integrity, honesty, professionalism, etc are the basics, followed by enthusiasm, communication skills, marketing skills and negotiation skills (experience), and not necessarily in that order, but most of all it comes back to being willing to do the best by your client, without which everything else is irrelevant.
